I thought I had it all covered. A new thumb drive every three years and a new hard drive every five years. Even if it’s working well.
Yet I consistently ignored the physical wear and tear of this particular thumb drive which I used it almost on a daily basis.
Fortunately, 95% of the files had a backup somewhere.
Fortunately, I do any work to the files in there owing to procrastination for the past four days.
But unfortunately, I did lose the 5% of the files which I meant to transfer to another PC. I wonder what were they and are they anything important.
Looks like fate has it that I should just continue to stay away from work without regrets on my rest days – a good habit to have anyway.
Anyway, thank you for hearing my rants out.
